The Christian Education Department's purpose is to approve all literature used at the Church for teaching purposes. The Christian Education Department makes sure the literature is sound Biblical Doctrine and the authors of our study material believes in the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Deacon & Deaconess Board

The general duty of a Deacon is to assist the Pastor in accomplishing his vision for Mt. Sinai and to serve the needs of the congregation.   The Deacons conduct Sunday Morning Worship Service devotion, devotions at other times when needed and Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting.
The Deaconess Board assists the Pastor in developing the spiritual life of the women and girls of the Church for the best possible Christian service. The Deacons and Deaconess assist with the observance of the Lord's Supper during 1st Sunday service, Baptism and take communion to the sick and shut-ins when requested.

Drama Department

There is no creativity without faith, hope and prayer. The Drama Department came into being in June 1990. The purpose of the group is to be an aid in worship service, to be an outreach in the community, to provide pleasurable Christian entertainment and to be an outlet for talent in the church.

Golden Age Outreach

This auxiliary is made up of senior citizens who meet once a week - Tuesdays for outings, exercise and classes. They also help those in the church and community through prayer, Bible studay and social fellowship.

Missionary Society

The Missionary Society is committed by The Christian Pledge. The society is called to witness; aid those in distress and help coordinate programs in kingdom building. The Missionary Society also aid direcetly in youth activities for greater development.

Trustee Board

The Trustee Board of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church is comprised of members in good standing. They are charged with the responsibility of the administration of all church property including it's physical properties and assets.

Usher Board

An Usher is responsible for the comfort and happiness of guests in the congregation. The usher ensures the pastor or speaker will be able to minister at his best without disturbances. An usher is sensitive to and aware of the needs of the individual ministering prior to, during and following the service. The usher ensures that every person during worship service has what they need.
